Amrit Ocean Resort is a wellness resort in Singer Island, Florida that merges Eastern principles with Western luxury.

Amrit Ocean Resort, located on Singer Island in Palm Beach County, Florida, has unveiled five new oceanfront dining concepts, led by its new executive chef, Craig Tooker. This initiative, announced on October 6, 2025, marks the introduction of culinary offerings that emphasize wellness alongside indulgence, including the first expansion of the acclaimed Karma Modern Indian from Washington D.C.

Chef Tooker, a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, brings over 20 years of experience from prestigious establishments such as Manhattan’s Carlyle and Roosevelt Hotels, as well as luxury brands like Ritz-Carlton and Kimpton. His culinary philosophy integrates global flavors with a focus on local, sustainable ingredients. “South Florida’s abundance of fresh seafood, vibrant produce, and cultural influences allows us to create dishes that are bold, satisfying, and still rooted in wellness,” said Tooker.

AYRE by Karma stands out as the flagship restaurant, being the first outside of D.C. to showcase the culinary artistry of Karma Modern Indian. Guests can expect a sensory journey where Ayurvedic principles merge with contemporary Indian cuisine, all enhanced by stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The menu features inventive dishes like lobster masala and Amritsari snapper, with tasting menus available in three, five, or seven courses, priced at $75, $105, and $145 respectively.

The resort’s second dining venue, TAAZA, draws inspiration from Europe’s glamorous beach clubs. This open-air restaurant offers Mediterranean dishes such as wood-fired branzino and artisanal pizzas, complemented by a selection of organic wines, creating a relaxed seaside dining experience.

Another new addition, TULĀ, will debut in November and features a reimagined menu that highlights ingredient-driven cuisine. Dishes include diver scallops with carrot-ginger tapioca and Berkshire pork belly glazed with white miso. Each plate is designed to reflect coastal sensibilities while celebrating seasonal flavors.

The resort also introduces LALA, a lobby bar and lounge where guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails and gourmet bites. The menu incorporates herbal remedies and superfood ingredients, aiming to balance flavor with health. For those seeking a quick bite, JEEVI offers a selection of nourishing smoothies and specialty coffees.

Amrit Ocean Resort is committed to sustainable dining practices across all its restaurants, ensuring menus are free from industrial seed oils and emphasizing transparency in sourcing. This philosophy is supported by Dr. Uma Naidoo, a Harvard-trained nutritional psychiatrist who advises the culinary team on the intersection of food and wellness.

At the heart of Amrit’s dining experience is a commitment to creating an environment where culinary artistry meets oceanfront serenity. The resort boasts the largest private beach in the area, stretching over 300 feet, providing an ideal backdrop for intimate dinners and special events.

Co-founder Shama Barot emphasized the resort’s mission: “At Amrit, we’re reimagining what it means to dine well. Our restaurants prove that wellness cuisine can be bold, decadent, and deeply satisfying.”

Amrit Ocean Resort features 155 guest rooms and suites, alongside a four-story spa and wellness center, the largest in Florida, offering a variety of treatments and amenities. For more information about the dining options or to make a reservation, visit amritocean.com or call 844-692-6748.
